Growing in Confidence and Capability

Elementary

Green | Blue | Purple Groups

Our Elementary program is designed to partner with homeschooling families and those considering homeschooling by supporting students as they move from the wonder of early childhood into greater academic responsibility. This stage of learning builds on strong foundations while gently introducing more structure, helping students grow in independence without losing the joy of learning.

Where Curiosity Leads Character Grows

At TKCU, our academics are designed to do more than build knowledge—they help shape confident, curious learners who see God at work in every subject. We meet students right where they are and challenge them to grow with purpose, joy, and support.

Instruction remains hands-on, engaging, and developmentally appropriate, with experienced teachers who know their students well and provide meaningful guidance. Within a Christ-centered environment, students are challenged and encouraged to think, ask questions, and take ownership of their learning while being supported both in the classroom and as families continue learning at home.

Reading
Reading & Phonics

Through rich, ability-based novels, students move from learning to read to reading to learn. Our literature approach builds fluency, comprehension, and critical thinking—all while nurturing a genuine love of story and learning.

Writing
Writing & Grammar

We equip students with strong grammar skills that they apply to their own writing—creating multi-paragraph pieces that express ideas clearly and creatively. Our goal is to help every student find their voice and grow as young authors.

World History
Science

Students experience science with wonder and hands-on discovery. We explore life science, earth science, and the natural world through engaging, Christ-centered lessons that connect curiosity with creation.

Math
Math

From mastering multiplication and long division to exploring exponents and PEMDAS, our students build a strong foundation in number sense and problem-solving. These skills prepare them for more advanced thinking and future algebraic concepts.

Texas HIstory
Social Studies

Our students dive into the story of Texas and the roots of our country’s founding. We introduce key concepts of government and citizenship, helping students understand their place in God’s bigger story for our nation.
